SANTA CLAUS

A HIDDEN STORY IN SANTA’S SECRET VILLAGE

Raymond Learns A Lesson

Raymond dumped another cup of raisins into his breakfast oats. As he reached for the sugar bowl his mother stopped him.

“Raymond, that’s enough“, she shouted. “You’ve already had three lumps of sugar. There’s no need to stuff yourself, we are having the Reindeer Dinner this afternoon before Santa and his team leave on their Christmas Eve journey. There will be dancing, gifts and plenty of delicious food, all that sugar will spoil your appetite“.

Raymond gulped down his breakfast. Then when his mother wasn’t looking he grabbed a few lumps of sugar and headed out the door to find his friends.

When he reached the meadow, he found two of his reindeer friends frolicking in the snow. He stuffed the sugar lumps in his mouth before joining his friends.

“How about a game of tag?” cried his friends Roger and Renee when they spied their friend Raymond. “You’re it!” they giggled as they raced across the meadow. They ran and laughed until they grew tired and Raymond announced, “I’m cold!”

CHRISTMAS

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT?

Every year more than 400 million people celebrate Xmas around the world -- that makes Xmas one of the world’s biggest religious and commercial festivities. In approximately year 300 A.D., the birthday of Jesus was determined to be on December 25, the day that has been celebrated from then till this very day. The celebration on the 25th of December starts with Christmas Eve, the evening of December 24.

Christmas is not all about buying cloths, shoes, cards, eating and enjoying oneself forgetting the Less Privileged ones who have little or nothing to celebrate. We change our shoes, cloths etc once, twice or even more a week, we have always been eating rice, salad, turkey, chicken, etc, why not share these things to others in need of them. There is one unique thing about Christmas which we all must realize – Love. Love made God send his only son Jesus to die for the redemption of our lives. Love also made Jesus submit himself as a Lamb ready to be slain, not considering the extent at which we sin every second. If God could give his only son Jesus Christ to die and then resurrect on the third day, then why can’t we extend that love to the Less Privileged.
